Explore Layout - Ritz collection

Hi everyone. :)   Adriana here on the blog today, I still have been playing with the latest paper collection designed by Sue Smyth "THE RITZ" collection
available from Artdeco - Couture Creations - Ultimate Crafts.

So today is my last project that I am sharing with this awesome collection, this collection can be used for so many different themes and one of them can be for documenting and scraping your travel photos.

Using both the Ultimate crafts
decorative dies from THE RITZ collection,
I have created a layout with one of my photos taken in
Venice - St Mark's square.

"EXPLORE" by Adriana Bolzon

Using some of the papers from both the Ultimate crafts - The Ritz-
"Evening Cocktail" 12x12 Paper Padand the "Gatsby" 12x12 Paper Pad
I gently tore the edges off and then inked them with a Vintage Ink pad,
layering them on top of each other.

Using the Couture Creations Chunky Gold crystals embossing powder CO724966
and a script stamp pad around the top and bottom on the layout.

I also glued a piece of Black trim lace on the bottom of the photo and a strip of Ultimate Crafts The Ritz - A4 Vellum ULT157832

Arrange a couple of cluster of flowers and die cuts using
Couture Creations C0724293 Bulk white Jewelled flowers
Card stock - Ultimate Craft Black ULT200007 &
Ultimate Craft Carnelian ULT200068

with Card stock - Ultimate Craft Black ULT200007.

together with one of the chipboard pieces in this collection
Ultimate Crafts - The Ritz - Chipboard - Thin Waves -ULT158359 and a few of chipboard alphas. I foiled them using the Go Press & Foil machine and
Couture Creation Red Foil CO725360

I think they look amazing in red foil and just it just pops some colour to the layout !!!!

Vintage Christmas foiled Cards

Hi everyone. :)   today I have created a few cards using the new release Couture Creations Let Everyday Be Christmas
Artdeco Creations - Couture Creations ask for it at your local scrapbooking store!!!! This collection is designed by Tina Higgins - a well known artist. I just love her vintage style and this Christmas collection is so pretty.

In this collection there are 12x12 paper pads and A4 paper pads, stunning Christmas dies and also a few new hot foil stamps that can be used together
with the Go Press, Foil & Machine by Couture Creations,

For today, I am going to show you all how to use one of the background decorative dies in this collection to create a different and unique background for your cards. The particular die that I am showcasing today is from this collection
and it is called

Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515

Using the same background die in two different ways you can create so many different styles of cards. The gold foiling really sets off the vintage feel to these cards. I really love how you can add inks or colour to the foiled images after being foiled with the Go Press and Foil machine.

This card below showcases it by using the
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515
with Couture Creations Silver Foil A4 card stock - CO725409
This die is just a fabulous die, it is so delicate and intricate and the best part is that it could be used for any occasion themed card besides for Christmas.

It can be used as you normally would by cutting it out with some card stock and with you manual die cutting machine, using it as a background to your card etc, just like this one I created below...

Here are a few close ups of the cards with all the product list.

For the background of my card I cut from the
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515
and glued it on the C6 card card stock.

Using the Go Press and Foil Machine and
Couture Creations Gold Matte Vintage Gold Foil C0725355
I hot foiled the following with the hot stamps from this collection.

Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Ornate Christmas Frame Hot foil stamp CO725534
Christmas Holly Hot foil stamp CO725527
and cut one of the
Glowing Candles Decorative Die CO725503
and gently inking the die cut with some ink colour.

After foiling the holly leaves , I gently add some ink colour to the leaves and berries and also added some gemstones and ribbon embellishment.

and for the second card that I created, I used the same die,
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515
and with some foils and the
Go Press, Foil & Machine by Couture Creations,
creating a different type of background in which you
can add inks and sprays once foiled.

STEP BY STEP TO CREATE A FOILED BACKGROUND
WITH NORMAL DECORATIVE DIES.

1. Place your decorative die with the cutting side face up on to the hot platform of the Go Press and foil machine.
2. Turn machine on as per instructions included with the machine.

3. Cut a piece of Couture Creations - Foil and place the colour side down of the foil onto the cutting edge of the decorative die.

4. Place your card stock on top of the foil and die.
5. Add an extra paper shim on top and close the top of machine, wait till this is heated through.
6. Place the Go press & Foil machine platform on to your manual die cutting machine, run this through slowly and carefully.

NOTE: You don't want to cut the die cut and your card stock, you just want it to heat the foil on the cutting edge of the die and that will leave a foil image on your card stock.

Gently peel away the foil and PRESTO!!!

The finished hot foil image on the card stock ready to be used and a great decorative base.
You could leave it plain or you could add inks or spray mists of colour to the foiled back ground, creating a unique card or project.
Experiment - give it a try - have some crafting fun !!!!

Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515
for the background
Ornate Christmas Frame Hot foil stamp CO725534
and cut the centre out of the frame
Christmas Branches Decorative Die CO725508
for decoration on the bottom of the card, along with a cut out of the
Winter Corner Mini Die CO725517
adding a few die cuts of
Snowflakes Mini Die CO725521 around the card.

Sleigh Mini Die CO725522 in the centre of card

I inked the edges of the foiled card stock and flicked a bit of gold paint on the background.

In this collection there are 12x12 paper pads and A4 paper pads, stunning Christmas dies and also a fabulous hot foil stamps that can be used together

"Christmas Snowflake Cards" by Adriana Bolzon

For my 1st card below, I used the
Couture Creations
Let Everyday Be Christmas  Christmas Snowflakes hotfoil stamps C0725528
with
and Silver Foil mirror finish CO725350 FOIL to create a background of snowflakes and added some more die cuts of snowflakes with the
Couture Creations Silver Foil A4 card stock - CO725409 and
Let Everyday Be Christmas Mini Snowflakes decorative die C0725521

Let Everyday Be Christmas Merry Christmas die C0725509

Using the Go Press and Foil machine and the
Let Everyday Be Christmas  Christmas Snowflakes hotfoil stamps C0725528 and
Couture Creations Silver Foil mirror finish CO725350 FOIL
I heat foiled the hot stamp many times, all over my white card stock.
I just love the finished look of the silver mirror foil on white!

After foiling the snowflakes I coloured the background with
some ink pad colour (Broken China),
the silver foil and the cool blue colour look so awesome together.
Did you know that you can colour the background after you have foiled your card stock piece or you can do before you do the hot foiling, how cool is that !!!!

Die cut the following - Couture Creations
Let Everyday Be Christmas Mini Snowflakes decorative die C0725521
Let Everyday Be Christmas Merry Christmas die C0725509
with Couture Creations Silver Foil A4 card stock - CO725409

Adding a seam binding ribbon on the bottom of card and a bit of bling of crystal gemstones C0721996 here and there.

Here are a few close ups of my card.

For my 2nd card I used the
Couture Creations
together with the Go Press and Foil Machine
and the Couture Creations
Blue/Green Foil CO725392 & Silver Foil mirror finish CO725350 FOIL
and also the

"Merry Christmas Snowflake" card by Adriana Bolzon

I created this card with a Square white card stock base
with piece of
Couture Creations Silver Foil A4 card stock - CO725409
on top followed by a layer of
one of the music pages from the
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
A4 paper pad  Collection C0725490

I foiled the music piece of paper from the
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
A4 Paper pad Collection C0725490
with my Go Press and Foil machine &
Silver Foil mirror finish CO725350 FOIL & using the

With another piece of white card stock, I cut a piece of
Ultimate Crafts - DIE CUT AND BOND TAPE ULT157644 and place it onto
the card stock,

I peeled the top layer away and
gently placed a piece of
Couture CreationsSilver Foil mirror finish CO725350 FOIL and
Couture Creations Blue/Green Foil CO725392
on the sticky side and smoothed it flat.

Using the Let Everyday Be Christmas Mini Snowflakes decorative die C0725521 I then cut several of the snowflakes with this piece of foiled card stock.

Next using the Go Press and foil machine &
Couture Creations Blue/Green Foil CO725392 I hot foiled the word Merry Christmas on to a strip of
Couture Creations Silver Foil A4 card stock - CO725409
then matted that with some White Glitter card stock.

Placing it all together on the bottom of the card, embellishments include seam binding ribbon and Crystal Gemstones.
